Group Policy and Objectives

It is the main policy objective of Changing Times Theatre Company to perform plays in a voluntary capacity, as frequently as possible, including all who wish to be involved, and attempting to achieve the highest standard possible with the resources available, whilst enjoying the process.

In the furtherance of the main objective, the group will run regular workshops and events, facilitated by professionals as well as members of the group, to assist all members to develop their skills and talents.

Constitution

The Group

The name of the group is ‘Changing Times Theatre Company’, or ‘Changing Times’ for short. The group has no formal structures. These will evolve over time.

Membership and Funding

The group carries member to member indemnity insurance, for the protection of group members. All participants in our productions are required to join the group, and the subscription will be fifty euro per year.

The membership year runs from January to December.

The group will endeavour to ensure that all members receive the opportunity to participate in at least one production a year in their chosen discipline. All members will be notified about all events and activities, receive preferential booking for workshops, and are entitled to discounts over members of the public.

Funding will be sought from all possible sources, and all income received by the group, less expenses, will be retained for the furtherance of its main objectives.
