Jackie Scanlan is a member of Ennis Players since the late seventies and has performed and directed numerous productions with them. He is delighted to be associated with Changing Times Theatre Company for their Spring 2011 production.

Jackie is currently Chairman of the Drama League of Ireland, a position which he took over from Loren Harnett, one of Changing Times founding members. Prior to that he served as Development Officer with the DLI for five years. He was part of Ennis Players highly acclaimed production of O’Casey’s The Playboy of the Western World in 2010, and he won the RTE Best Supporting Actor in Athlone.

Jackie is also a member of An Coimisiún le Rince Gaelacha where he is a certified teacher and adjudicator.
