As a member of UCC's Dramat she played 'Laraine' in Howard Korder's Wonderful Party.

As a student, she attended the Limerick School of Acting. Jackie is married to Liam and they have two daughters, Emma and Aoife. She has been teaching English and History in St Munchin's College, Limerick for over ten years.
