Evelyn is a secondary school teacher in Limerick City.

She is originally from Creevy, Co. Roscommon, and she became a member of Roscommon Drama Group in 2006. She has always had an interest in drama. In her first performance with Roscommon Drama Group, she played Brenda Dixon in Cash on Delivery, by Michael Cooney.

The following year, she played the French Maid in Love Begins at Fifty, by Raymond Hopkins, and Rosalind Barstow in the mystery farce But Why Bump Off Barnaby, by Rick Abbot. Evelyn is also a former member of The Roscommon Drama Festival Committee, who reestablished the Roscommon Drama Festival after an absence of 27 years.

She is delighted to be part of Changing Times Theatre, and will make her first performance with the group in the forthcoming production of Last Tango in Sir Harry's Mall. (May 2010)
