June
2010
We performed Dancing at Lughnasa, by Brian Friel at St.
John's Theatre and Arts Centre, Listowel on Thursday 3rd
June 2010, as part of the Writers Week Festival. Once again,
it was a full house, and a very appreciative audience. A
great night was had by all, and some of the group members
continued the night at the Cliff House Hotel, Ballybunnion,
for a night of great fun! |

February 2010
Kevin O'Connor facilitated a workshop for Changing Times Theatre on the 28th

participants was very positive, as expected - Kevin is an
excellent tutor, and everyone had a great time.

January
2010
The
curtain has finally come down on our first production,
Bad Sunday, by Mark Wale, which ran on the 28th
January at Friars Gate, Kilmallock, and on the 29th and
30th January at the AbsoluteHotel.com, Limerick City.
We
played to three packed houses, and feedback was
overwhelmingly positive, with people having a great
night, whether they attended the theatre in
Friars Gate,
or the dinner theatre at the hotel. It's likely that
dinner theatre will now be an annual event, and Changing
Times have already been invited to return by Caoimhe
Reidy, the manager of
Friars Gate. We were delighted to
have been able to perform at both locations, and special
thanks to everyone who made us feel so welcome!

Are you an
aspiring playwright, and would like to hear your play read? Changing
Times will shortly be announcing a series of rehearsed
readings - and we are interested in hearing from playwrights
that would like to hear a reading of their play - a great
chance to hear what it sounds like out loud, in the hands of
a director and actors. If so, please send on a script, and
we will get back to you. |
